Lovely place, really nice for a winter walk. We heard it was good to spot red squirrels, sadly not our day but will come back.

Lovely little Grey Squirrel trail or wander a bit further if you want. I've walked it and cycled it (OK for hybrid or mountain bike). Oh, and this time of year mushrooms a plenty to photograph.

Great walk with lots of different paths to explore. Wide gravel walking areas and some paths through the woods. We took a picture of the map at the car park to keep track of where we were. Will be back to keep trying different routes!

Really great forest walks. The car park is a medium size with picnic benches. We used FK10 4AS to locate the parking. There is a few different trails. The information board explained difficulties of the trails, expected shoes and time it takes. We done the easy 1.2Miles trail which took 45min and looped around the loch. Picnic benches around the loch and some seated benches. The path has gravel and can suit buggies However wheelchairs users might need extra strength of some of the terrain. No public toilets. Bins only at the entrance so possibly bring carry bag with water and to hold any waste. The scenery is stunning and the trees are mighty to be around. We found brambles and blueberries for foraging. Truly a wonderful experience. Great place for dogs. Many route options.

Good accessible trail for electric wheelchair/Batec. Also has 8 miles of forest roads to explore, did some of them which were also accessible on my electric wheelchair. Some gravelly sections no major inclines. Nice and quiet.

One can't give any forest in Scotland, big or small, less than 5 stars :)

A great place for walking with or without dogs, but sadly the forest map board has disappeared, making it difficult for rookies to plan a route
